Annie Black is a seasoned public relations specialist and creative strategist focused in hospitality. Initially launching her career in New York at fashion and lifestyle firms Black Frame and PR Consulting, she fortuitously landed in the world of culinary upon returning to Los Angeles, where she has remained for over the past decade. Throughout her experience working at decorated agencies, such as Baltz & Company and Becca, Annie has overseen a wide array of clients including José Andrés, Ludo Lefebvre, Nyesha Arrington and award-winning cocktail concepts from The Varnish to The Normandie Club, as well as hotel openings and gourmet products. At the onset of the pandemic, she ventured out on her own to assist clients in need of PR, marketing, and brand consultation to survive amidst the uncertainty. Annie is currently based in Los Angeles with her wife, Courtney, and their mini dachshund, Lou, where she consistently and happily eats beyond her means.
